Visit northern Minnesota's small scale forests.
This two day tour will include four star lodging for one night, meals and coach bus transportation. Learn about Minnesota's forest history, research benefiting small scale owners, and about the world class birding opportunities at Sax Zim Bog. Visit the University of Minnesota Hubachek research facility, which is adjacent to the 400,000-hectare Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Also visit Minnesota’s International Wolf Center and a small scale woodland property. Additional details forthcoming.
Registration cost is $580. Please register for the conference and post-conference tour in one registration session. If you plan to attend the post-conference tour with a spouse/partner there is an addition $440 registration fee for the second person. Registration for the post-conference tour closes April 12, 2019.
Update: As of April 15, there are a limited number of spaces still available on the post-conference tour. The post-conference tour registration will remain open until the tour is at capacity or May 19, whichever comes sooner.
The post-conference tour registration fee includes lodging on the evening of Thursday July 11. If you plan to attend the post-conference tour, you will need to reserve your own lodging accommodations in Duluth on Wednesday July 10 and on Friday July 12 (if necessary depending on your return travel plans).
